Tiger Skips Buick Open

Tiger Woods is a Buick man, but he won’t be touting his sponsor at this year’s Buick Open due to the birth of his baby girl just this past Monday.

With the reported $40 million endorsement deal he signed with Buick a few years ago, I’m sure tournament officials aren’t pleased with the decision but there really isn’t much controversy here at all. Tiger had always told tournament officials that his baby was the priority and that the chances of a conflict are high.

There is still hope that Tiger will be among the field of the AT&T National which he is hosting the weekend after the Buick.

Tiger has won the Buick Open eight times and had been there for five straight years.
